He was born April 1957 in Greenville, S.C. in a Missionary family to Appalachian Mountains of KY. He currently pastors Tabernacle Baptist Church which he founded in 1984. Dr. Moore has also maintained a very busy schedule of speaking and singing in many meetings and conferences around the country. Growing up in obscurity in the Appalachian Region of Kentucky and with seemingly very little musical ability, Dr. Moore has emerged to become one of the most amazing Gospel singers in America and around the world. Using the five years of vocal training he received at TTU in the late 70’s, he has taught Voice, Music and Bible for nearly 40 years in 3 Bible Colleges, in Christian Schools and has produced several State and National Christian School, Fine Arts Champions. Dr. Moore has now made available the methods he has used to emerge from obscurity to a National sought after soloist. His method “Singing Made Simple” is now available as well as affordable to any private student, homeschool teacher or instructor who needs supplemental help in teaching anyone to sing or even reach the next level in music. The Voice training videos have manuals and downloads to supplement teaching and voice training.
